About the Role

The Twin Peaks Bar Back is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all aspects of the Twin Peaks bar and its beverage program. Team members are defined by pride, extreme standards, and discipline in maintaining a clean and sanitized bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to uniform standards and policies that maintain a clean and sanitized restaurant.
• Maintain clean and organized bar stations and equipment.
• Ensure Health, Safety, and Sanitation (HOH) standards, as well as GHS requirements, are followed at all times.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Train using tablets or computers.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking the bar, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables.
• Ensure the bar is well-stocked with all necessary items.
• Change kegs, check taps, and confirm appliances are working and in good repair.
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bar Back.
• Ability to communicate in English and understand prep recipes and line build procedures.
• Ability to apply common sense and follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Must attend orientation and agree to Twin Peaks policies and procedures.
• Must complete the HOH training program prior to working a shift without supervision.
• Must complete any required food and/or alcohol service certifications as mandated by local and state regulations.

Physical Demands

The role requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Use hands and fingers to handle objects, products, or controls.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Talk and hear.
• Lift and/or move up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Possess close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes:

• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen.
• Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (e.g., dish area or walk-in cooler).
• Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals during cleaning.
• Potential exposure to cigarette or cigar smoke in locations with guest smoking sections.

Uniform Requirements

• Clean Twin Peaks black hat worn forward at all times (brim never bent).
• Hair must be clean and kept underneath the hat.
• Clean-shaven; beards and mustaches allowed if well-maintained.
• Fingernails must be kept trimmed.
• No jewelry in ears, face, around the neck, or wrists.
• No headphones or earbuds.
• Clean, non-faded, wrinkle-free Twin Peaks kitchen shirt tucked in.
• Belt is required.
