About the Role

The Twin Peaks Bar Back is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all aspects of the Twin Peaks bar and its beverage program. Team members are defined by pride, extreme standards, and discipline in maintaining a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to uniform standards and company policies/procedures to maintain a clean and sanitized restaurant and bar.
• Maintain clean and organized bar stations and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with HOH Standards, Safety and Sanitation, and GHS requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Train using tablets or computers as required.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking the bar, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining tables.
• Ensure the bar is well-stocked with all necessary items.
• Change kegs, check taps, and confirm appliances are in good working order.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bar Back or in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and understand prep recipes and line build procedures.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
• Must attend and successfully complete orientation, HOH training, and any other required training (e.g., food/alcohol service certifications).

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, and communicate verbally.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms and occasionally lift/move up to 15 pounds.
• Requires close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Work Environment

• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles, wet/humid conditions, and occasional toxic or caustic chemicals during cleaning.
• May be exposed to cigarette or cigar smoke in locations with guest smoking sections.

Uniform Requirements

• Clean Twin Peaks black hat worn forward at all times (brim unbent).
• Hair must be clean and fully contained under the hat.
• Must be clean-shaven; beards and mustaches allowed if well-maintained.
• Fingernails must be trimmed.
• No jewelry on ears, face, neck, or wrists.
• No headphones or earbuds.
• Clean, non-faded, wrinkle-free Twin Peaks kitchen shirt tucked in; belt required.
