Turnhouse Supervisor | Providence Country Club

Providence Country Club is seeking a Turnhouse Supervisor to provide food and beverage service for the golf course turn and/or snack bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Dependability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a vibrant personality are essential. This role requires prompt responsiveness to customer needs while delivering outstanding service to members and guests.

About the role

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests cheerfully by name if possible or addresses them by sir or ma’am.
• Assists with table setup, maintenance, and cleanliness of dining areas.
• Completes opening and closing duties/checklists in a timely fashion.
• Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
• Maintains full knowledge of food and beverage offerings, current à la carte menus, and daily specials.
• Properly receives, stores, and inventories all beverage and/or bar products.
• Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Performs side work during non-busy hours.
• Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
• Ensures member satisfaction standards are consistently met and seeks opportunities to create positive, memorable experiences for members and guests.
• Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
• Ability to use a point-of-sale terminal.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in the State of North Carolina.
• Country club experience preferred but not required.

Pay

USD $18.00 per hour.
