Trusts & Estates Associate (2027 JD) - Fargo, ND

About the role

We are seeking JD students graduating in 2027 to join the Trusts & Estates Department in our Fargo office in Fall 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents
• Work on complex trust and estate matters
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal advice
• Participate in client meetings and consultations
• Contribute to team projects and initiatives

Requirements

• Interest in estate planning
• Background in finance, accounting, or business
• Strong intellectual, problem-solving, analytical, and writing skills
• Experience in leadership roles in school or community
• Top 25% of your law school class
• Ties to or interest in North Dakota

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in North Dakota or willing to obtain admission
• Passing bar exam required
