Truck Driver - OTR Class A - Penske Logistics
About the role
Immediate Opportunities for Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average annual salary of $80,000 with an additional $8,000 per year in layover per diem. No weekends.
Responsibilities
- Run consistent routes within a 2,500-mile radius
- Average 2,400 miles per week with 5 stops
- 3 to 4 layovers per week (paid per diem)
- No touch freight – primarily drop and hook plus trailer shuttling between warehouses
- Typical route: St. Michael, MN to Noblesville, IN
- Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, Early AM start, Average 40 to 50 hours per week
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Physical Requirements
- Moves frequently, stands, walks, and sits
- Lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally up to 100lbs/45kg
- Operates a motor vehicle and safely enters/escapes the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
