About the role
- No-touch freight
- Two consecutive days off per week
- Drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety
- Trucks equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for safety
- Deliver commercial electrical products to customers with OTR travel
- Five-day work week with potential to dispatch Sunday and return home Saturday
Responsibilities
- Deliver products safely and on time while representing Penske and client brands
- Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance
- Operate vehicle in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency as required by federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Complete Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening

Physical Requirements
- Ability to see and hear, with specific vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting
- Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg, occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
