Ryder is hiring a Class NON CDL Truck Driver in Allentown, PA — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Pay
- $1157 or more per week
- Solo Miles Pay: $0.55 per Mile with 1300 Miles per Week
- Solo Stops Pay: $14.50 per Stop with 25 Stops per Week
- Per Diem Pay: $40 per night with 2 nights per Week
- Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
- Paid Training
Schedule
- Monday – Friday NO WEEKENDS
- Start Time: 4:00 am
Route & equipment
- Deliver SOLO 300-mile radius of Louisville
- Route: Local Regional
- Tractor Type: Straight Truck 26'
- Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack, lift gate and Forklift
- Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
- Freight: Touch – Glass Shower Doors

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Must have verifiable driving experience (*must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck): 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records
- Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Other tasks as assigned
