Truck Driver - Class A Floater - Penske Logistics
Average annual pay: $77,000 with a $5,000 retention bonus and up to $5,000 per referral through our driver referral bonus program.
About the role
Drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. Vehicles are equipped with inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras to help ensure safety for all. You will deliver fresh chicken to grocery stores, averaging 60 stops per week, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency (required for federal compliance)
- Must pass a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Must accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting required
- Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
