Truck Driver - Class A Floater- Penske Logistics
About the Role
Join Penske as a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver and enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule with home daily. This role offers an average annual pay of $83,000, a $5,000 retention bonus, and a driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral.
You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for safety. The role involves covering various routes and assignments, including route, shuttle, and yard coverage, with no-touch deliveries.
Schedule
Monday through Friday with AM or PM start times; flexibility is required.

Responsibilities
- Cover various routes and assignments as needed
- Perform route, shuttle, and yard coverage
- Complete no-touch deliveries
- Represent Penske and client brands professionally while driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms
- Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
- Operate vehicles safely and maintain a constant state of alertness
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in your state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency (required by federal law for compliance)
- Ability to pass a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting
- Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
