Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Twin Falls, ID — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay

  • $1650 or more per week
  • Solo Miles Pay: $0.59 per Mile with 2500+ Miles per Week
  • Safety Bonus: Up to $2000 per Year
  • Sign-on Bonus: $4000 ($1500 at 90 days, $2500 at 9 months)
  • Paid Training

Schedule

  • 55+ hours per week
  • Sunday - Thursday or Monday – Friday
  • Start Time: 5:00 AM - 10:00 AM
  • Regional route: 2 - 3 nights out per week

About the Role

  • Deliver solo to ID, NV, OR & WA
  • Tractor Type: Sleeper - 2019
  • Trailer Type: Dry Van 53’
  • Freight: No Touch – Beverages
  • Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire (Ryder reimburses costs and provides training)
  • Trucks are 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide locations

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test, background check, and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
  • Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
    • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
    • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
  • Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned
