Treatment Plant Operator Assistant Chief (Conserv I)
Job Summary
This position is located at the Water Conserv I Water Reclamation Facility, located at 11401 Boggy Creek Rd, Orlando, FL 32824. Performs responsible technical, supervisory, and administrative work assisting in operating a wastewater treatment plant on an assigned shift. Responsibilities include but are not limited to collecting samples, removing sludge, performing laboratory tests, inspecting and adjusting equipment, and maintaining records. Performs the Treatment Plant Operator Chief's duties in their absence.

Minimum Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent plus five (5) years experience operating a wastewater treatment plant
- Valid Florida Driver's License required
- Current Florida Wastewater Operator “A” Certificate for Wastewater Treatment required or possess a Florida Wastewater Operator “B” Certificate for Wastewater Treatment and obtain a Florida Wastewater Operator “A” Certificate for Wastewater Treatment within one (1) year from date of hire
