Travelling Orthodontic Manager

About the Role

The Orthodontic Manager supports a Specialty Team by providing proficient, trustworthy dental services and care to patients, and effectively and efficiently communicating with team members to align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. This position reports directly to the Specialty Regional Manager and plays an instrumental role in the guest experience for Ideal Dental.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a smile
• Answer phones and schedule appointments with a positive attitude
• Maintain flexibility regarding scheduling changes, communicating changes to patients and staff
• Work to maintain full schedules and maintain office schedule flow
• Collect balances and verify insurance when needed
• Present accurate patient treatment plans, determine insurance coverage & patient financial responsibility for procedures, assist with insurance pre-authorizations, and review finance options with patients
• Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed
• Coordinate patient check-in and check-out
• Perform all duties relating to supporting the office
• Oversee the schedule of staff, doctors, and patients
• Motivate the Endodontic Team to ensure daily/weekly/monthly revenue goals
• Manage Endodontic front office and back-office staff
• Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development of the Endodontic Team
• Complete reports as needed in an accurate and timely manner
• All other duties assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Orthodontics experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of dental management experience preferred
• Experience with treatment plans required
• Insurance verification experience required
• Digital practice software experience
