Traveling Resource Registered Nurse

Field-Based / Regional Travel (Ohio, Texas, Missouri, Indiana) | Full-Time | ~90% Travel

About the Role

This role is built for nurses who thrive on the road. We need a hospice RN who goes where the need is. No two weeks are the same, and no site is left unsupported. This is a travel-first role: you'll move between locations covering whatever a team needs most that week. One week you're carrying a caseload; the next, you're teaching a new hire the ropes. The following week, you might fill in as a clinical leader to keep a site steady. All facets of hospice care, one nurse, wherever we need you.

Responsibilities

• Travel ~90% of the time between locations experiencing staffing gaps, leadership vacancies, or census surges.
• Provide direct patient care: admissions, visits, complex symptom management, case management.
• Educate, mentor, and onboard clinicians and new leaders on-site.
• Step into clinical leadership/DCS duties temporarily to keep a site compliant and stable.
• Participate in IDG meetings, audits, and quality initiatives wherever you're deployed.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of hospice experience.
• Hospice heart and strong clinical judgment.
• Current RN licensure (multi-state preferred).
• Comfort with travel up to 90% of the time.
• Valid driver's license and insured transportation.
