About the role
Tend is revolutionizing dental care by combining hospitality with comprehensive diagnostics and personalized treatment plans. As a Traveling Associate Dentist, you'll deliver exceptional care across multiple studios, ensuring consistent, high-quality service within the Tend network.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a full spectrum of high-quality clinical services, including restorative care, comprehensive exams, and aligner treatments.
- Support teams during PTO, leaves, and open roles to maintain continuity and quality care.
- Participate in aligner case planning, sleep therapy evaluations, and aligner follow-ups.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and studio leadership to enhance patient care and team performance.
- Manage a dynamic schedule, balancing various procedures and treatments to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current, active dental license in the state you're applying for.
- Comfort with modern technology and willingness to adopt digital workflows.
- Invisalign certification.
- Experience in private practice, DSO, or similar settings.
- Ability to work a Full Time schedule consisting of 4-5 days per week (no Saturdays).
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Active DEA registration.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $175,000 USD - $375,000 USD, reflecting a competitive pay structure based on individual productivity, clinical mix, experience, schedule, and studio needs.
Schedule
This role offers a consistent schedule of 4 or 5 days per week, with no Saturdays, providing flexibility and mobility support.
