About the role

Tend is revolutionizing dental care by combining hospitality with comprehensive diagnostics and personalized treatment plans. As a Traveling Associate Dentist, you'll deliver exceptional clinical care across multiple studios, ensuring consistent, high-quality service throughout the Tend network.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a full range of clinical services, including restorative care, comprehensive exams, and aligner treatments.
  • Support teams during PTO, leaves, and open roles to maintain continuity and quality care.
  • Participate in aligner case planning and sleep therapy evaluations.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and studio leadership to enhance patient care and team performance.
  • Manage a flexible schedule to balance clinical duties with personal life, including occasional weekend work.

Requirements

  • Current DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Active dental license in the state you apply for.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • DEA registration.
  • Invisalign certification.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of post-residency experience in private practice, DSO, or similar setting.
  • Comfort with modern technology and willingness to adapt to digital workflows.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule of 4-5 days per week, with occasional weekend work.

  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage a busy schedule and prioritize tasks.

Pay

$175,000 - $375,000 USD annually, with a competitive compensation model that rewards high-quality clinical care, comprehensive treatment, and strong production.

Schedule

Full-time schedule of 4-5 days per week, with occasional weekend work. Flexible start times depending on studio needs.
