Job Summary

The organization is seeking qualified health care professionals for a Step Down Unit position located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The role involves providing patient care in an acute care setting, primarily during night shifts, with a focus on MedSurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units. The position requires strong clinical skills and experience with Epic electronic medical records.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid license to practice
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• Located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience and previous travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• This resource pool position encompasses all MedSurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry units at the specified facility, which includes units with up to 34 beds and diverse patient populations such as neurology, oncology, trauma, and surgical patients.
• The units operate under standard ratios of 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:6 for MedSurg/Telemetry.
• The facility's units include long-term antibiotic infusion, neuro, trauma, general surgery, surgical oncology, and epileptic monitoring units.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
