About the role

Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) assignment in Festus, Missouri. 13-week travel assignment starting 10/05/2026, 36 hours per week on night shifts (3 × 12‑hour shifts). The role involves providing high‑quality patient care in a cardiac step‑down unit, utilizing clinical expertise to coordinate patient care, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and maintain professional accountability in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform duties and responsibilities consistent with the facility’s mission, values, and standards of service.

Requirements

• Current RN license (eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• 0+ years of clinical experience in a step‑down setting.
• Located in Missouri (or able to obtain Missouri licensure).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
