Travel Step Down Unit RN - $2,335 per week
Job Summary
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit care is sought for a position located in Bismarck, North Dakota. The facility is a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit that requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care within a specialized tele/ cardiac unit, managing adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions. The shift schedule includes 12-hour shifts with days and weekends, and candidates must be prepared to float to help during operational needs.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, including day and night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Shifts are every other week, with the first shift to float being on a day basis.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to submit,
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience,
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS),
- Able to read and interpret electrocardiogram strips.
- Experience in a tele/ cardiac environment,
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system.

Additional Information
- RTO (Request to Off) days are required upfront within 7 days or less for a 13-week contract.
- No additional RTO will be approved after submission.
- The unit operates at Trauma Level 2 and is within an acute care setting.
- Floating to other units such as Medical/Surgical may be required to cover full patient loads.
