Travel Step Down Unit RN - $2,260 per week

About the role

Care for patients with conditions such as COPD, CHF, Diabetes, sepsis, renal issues, DKA, alcohol withdrawal, overdoses, pneumonia, neuro/surgical/cardiac conditions, and more. Utilize equipment like EMR systems (EPIC) and medication dispensing systems (Pyxis).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a fast-paced inpatient acute floor environment.
• Work night shifts (12 hours per shift) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Work three rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Participate in first-day orientation with education team and a day of floor orientation.
• May float to different units based on experience, including ICU or general medical floors.

Requirements

• Certifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS.
• Education: Relevant nursing degree.
• Location: Willing to work at the healthcare provider's facility.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years.

Schedule

• Shift: 12 hours, nights.
• Hours per week: 36.
• Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work environment

• Unit contains 32 beds with all private rooms.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 3-4 patients per nurse.
• Dress code is scrubs of any color.
