Travel Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech Vascular Sonographer Job
Responsibilities
- Perform complete vascular ultrasound examinations, including arterial and venous studies, for adult patients
- Acquire high-quality images, optimize study protocols, and document findings clearly in the patient record
- Communicate preliminary findings to supervising staff and collaborate with the vascular team to support patient care
- Maintain equipment, sterilize rooms, adhere to safety, infection control, and patient privacy guidelines
- Demonstrate unit-specific competency in a busy vascular lab, with coverage during rotating on-call weekends as assigned
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire license required at time of submission
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Certification: Registered Vascular Sonographer (CCI) or Registered Vascular Tech (ARDMS)
- 2+ years of dedicated vascular imaging experience in an acute care vascular lab, with unit-specific experience within the last 6 months; same-unit experience within the last 9 months may be tentatively approved
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner) but not required
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a rotating on-call schedule

About the role
Vascular Sonographer positions are available for travel assignments in a hospital setting with vascular imaging responsibilities.
Pay
Weekly pay range: $2,996-$3,093 per week
Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour days, four days per week; Wednesdays off; rotating on-call weekends
Schedule
Shift: 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with Wednesdays off and a rotating weekend on-call (approximately every 4th to 5th weekend, 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.)
