Vascular Ultrasound Tech – Travel Job

About the role

Join Jackson HealthPros as a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Tech, also known as Vascular Sonographer, where you’ll use your expertise to perform vascular ultrasound examinations, patient preparation, and documenting results, while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations
• Prepare patients for examinations
• Document examination results accurately
• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory standards

Requirements

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Tech
• BLS certification
• ARDMS (AB) required
• Experience in general/abdomen required
• Experience in non high-risk OB/GYN required
• Experience in vascular required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Work history or resume must include 24 months of current Sonographer and/or Vascular experience

Schedule

Monday - Friday
40 hrs/week
Start time varies between 0600 - 1000 based on staffing and cases
Call coverage Monday-Friday from 9pm-6am on a rotation among day staff
Weekend call coverage as needed from 630pm-6am
