Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound exams, including obstetric fetal surveys (1st–3rd trimesters), small parts, vascular (lower and upper extremities), and select pediatric studies (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception)
• Conduct inpatient and outpatient ultrasound procedures in radiology and manage all department tasks
• Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize imaging parameters, and document findings in the medical record; maintain accurate image storage
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control and radiation safety standards; collaborate with radiologists and clinicians
• Maintain high standards of image quality and timely reporting; adapt to variable workflow and patient needs
• May be required to float to additional sites within the system as needed and per department scheduling

Requirements

• ARDMS RDMS certification required at submission
• AHA BLS CPR certification required at submission
• 3+ years of ultrasound experience in the specialty
• Proficiency across general ultrasound, OB, small parts, vascular, and pediatric imaging
• Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient radiology settings; willingness to float to multiple sites within the system
• Flu vaccine required during flu season; EPIC EMR experience preferred; RTO requests must be included at submission and are not guaranteed after confirmation
