Responsibilities

• Perform two-dimensional ultrasound examinations of internal organs to aid diagnosis and assess organ function; include echocardiography as assigned
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain steps, maintain patient comfort, and support efficient department workflow
• Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, and document findings with accurate annotations
• Communicate results to physicians and collaborate with the medical team to support patient care
• Maintain equipment, perform routine quality checks, and uphold infection control and safety standards
• Ensure proper image storage, labeling, and documentation in the patient record

Requirements

• Current AART registry required
• Must have own transportation (car) for rural area access
• Ability to work in a hospital-setting environment and adapt to travel assignment requirements
• Comfort performing ultrasound imaging and echocardiography as part of routine duties
• Willingness to fulfill a 3x12-hour shift schedule
