Responsibilities

  • Perform adult echocardiography studies in the echo lab, generating high-quality images and accurate measurements
  • Maintain workflow targets of 7–8 studies per day and support occasional float to outpatient facilities as needed
  • Prepare patients, position them appropriately, and ensure comfort and safety during imaging
  • Document findings and enter data in the EPIC EMR, ensuring timely and accurate charting
  • Collaborate with cardiology, nursing, and other staff to coordinate care and communicate results
  • Participate in call duties as required and adhere to facility protocols and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with patient populations including inpatient, outpatient, and ICU settings

Requirements

  • ARDCS (ARDMS or CCI) certification required
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • EKG recognition required
  • Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
  • EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
  • Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (equivalency) acceptable
  • Ability to work in a hospital echo lab environment; Monday through Sunday availability; no block scheduling
