About the role
This travel assignment begins 08/10/2026 and runs for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week on a 4x10-hour day shift (06:45–17:15). The position works in a medical imaging department that serves multiple sites within a health system, with day-shift coverage and a call rotation; staff may float between imaging locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across vascular and non-vascular study areas according to department protocols
- Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, and adjust technique to obtain accurate diagnostic information; ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document findings and prepare preliminary reports for review by the radiologist; maintain accurate patient records and data entry
- Conduct vascular ultrasound studies, including upper and lower extremity DVT assessments and carotid imaging, with appropriate measurements and waveform analysis
- Float responsively between imaging sites within the health system and participate in the call rotation; collaborate with clinicians to meet exam needs and patient care goals
- Uphold ARDMS RDMS credentialing standards and maintain compliance with professional guidelines and privacy regulations
Requirements
- Active ARDMS RDMS certification required
- Vascular imaging knowledge, including the ability to perform upper and lower extremity DVT studies and carotid ultrasound
- Ability to work day shift on a 4x10-hour schedule with call rotation; able to float between imaging sites within the health system
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing and documenting ultrasound examinations and in adhering to safety, privacy, and quality standards

Pay
Weekly pay ranges from $2,578 to $2,702 per week.
