Overview

This travel assignment places a double-registered ultrasound technologist in a healthcare facility setting, performing General Abdomen, Vascular, and OB/GYN exams with the ability to work independently. Schedule is variable to accommodate patient flow and department needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound examinations in General Abdomen, Vascular, and OB/GYN regions as assigned
  • Acquire, optimize, and document high-quality images and measurements; ensure accurate labeling and patient data
  • Prepare patients, explain procedures, obtain consent when appropriate, and position patients for optimal imaging
  • Verify patient safety and comfort, maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
  • Communicate findings and images to the supervising radiologist or physician per department protocol; ensure timely reporting and proper documentation
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and room readiness, including cleanup, supply management, and adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

  • ARDMS registries in General Abdomen (ABD), Vascular, and OB/GYN
  • Double registered ultrasound technologist
  • Ability to work independently and manage exams with minimal supervision
  • Schedule is variable; comfortable with a rotating, dynamic workflow

About the Role

Key Highlights: Weekly pay: $2,240 to $2,302 per week; Contract duration: 13 weeks; Shift: Rotating with a variable schedule; Start date: 08/17/2026; Assignment setting: Healthcare facility; Autonomous practice: Ability to work independently within established protocols
