Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations as assigned, capturing high-quality images across standard studies and modalities within scope
- Prepare patients, position them appropriately, apply ultrasound gel, and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Operate ultrasound equipment, adjust imaging parameters, and document observations in patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to interpret findings and communicate results promptly
- Maintain equipment, ensure proper hygiene, and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Provide support with non-ultrasound tasks (e.g., paperwork, patient transport, cleaning) when workflow permits, as described in assignment notes
Requirements
- Ability to perform ultrasound examinations per department protocols and imaging standards
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule with 7 on/7 off days; hours may vary
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Comfortable working in a surgery-centered environment and adapting to evolving modality coverage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; attention to accuracy and documentation
