Key Highlights

• Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available 8/24)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using GE Logiq 9, across assigned modalities, ensuring quality images for interpretation
• Prepare patients, position body part appropriately, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Acquire, label, and transfer images to the PACS-Visage system following department protocols
• Document clinical findings and maintain accurate patient data in the EPIC EMR; communicate with the radiologist or ordering physician as needed
• Adhere to department standards for image quality, patient privacy, and infection control; participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required
• Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and participate in ongoing credentialing and cross-site coverage as directed

Requirements

• ARDMS certification (AB and/or OB) required
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• BLS certification
• Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency) acceptable
• Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating 8-hour shifts; weekend and on-call coverage may be required
• Must be able to work with the imaging equipment listed (GE Logiq 9) and adhere to PACS-Visage workflows
