Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography exams, prioritizing quality image acquisition and accurate measurements
• Conduct vascular and select general ultrasound studies as assigned, following department protocols
• Prepare patients, position appropriately, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Maintain exam documentation, organize images and reports, and ensure proper data entry and archiving
• Communicate critical findings promptly to the interpreting clinician and collaborate with the cardiology team
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and equipment QC/maintenance standards; ensure equipment is clean and ready for use

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound, with some general ultrasound experience as needed
• Day shift availability and ability to work a 7-on/7-off schedule
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
• US work eligibility for a travel assignment; able to work in Ganado, AZ
• Appropriate educational background in diagnostic medical sonography and relevant clinical training
• Certifications appropriate to echocardiography and ultrasound are preferred; active credentials in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalent are beneficial
