About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Hampton, Virginia. The position starts on August 31, 2026, and works 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Valid professional license or registration as required by this state
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required
• Professional references

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure to practice in the state of Virginia
• Experience in SNF settings preferred

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
