TRAVEL - RN L&D

About the Role

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position in Labor & Delivery (L&D) at a facility in Weatherford, TX. This is a night shift role with a start time of 06:30 PM and end time of 07:00 AM, running for 13 weeks. The assignment guarantees 36 hours per week with no call requirements and rotating weekends.

Unit Details

• 4 LDR beds
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for pitocin, 2:1 otherwise
• No unit secretary or tech support
• Documentation system: Meditech / CPN
• Scheduling requirement: every other weekend
• No floating policy

Responsibilities

• Circulate c-sections
• Provide labor and delivery care, recovery, immediate newborn care (golden hour), and PACU support
• Adhere to AIDET patient experience standards and conduct bedside shift reports

Requirements

• Active TX RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience in L&D
• BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
• Ability to perform the following skills:
  • Labor and delivery care
  • Recovery
  • Immediate newborn care (golden hour)
  • PACU support
  • Circulate and scrub c-sections

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech experience
• Ability to scrub c-sections

Dress Code & Appearance

• Facility-provided scrubs (color specified by facility)
• Nails: clean and healthy
• Hair: neat, clean, and natural colors (no extreme styles)
• Facial hair: clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: must be covered whenever possible; exceptions addressed individually
• Piercings: only ear piercings allowed (no visible facial or body piercings)
