Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU - $2,478 per week
Travel Certified Respiratory Therapy – NICU position in Charlottesville, Virginia. Start date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for 26 weeks). 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel. Job ID: OCT2026‑CC12313.
Schedule
- 12‑hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week (48 hours may be available)
- Every other weekend required
- Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas period time off not approved)
- Unit uses a self‑scheduling model; manager will explain during interview — schedule preferences accommodated when possible but not guaranteed
Requirements
- Level 4 NICU experience required
- Cardiac PICU experience preferred
- Experience working in a children’s hospital
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Virginia license (or ability to obtain temporary VA license before start; must hold a current license in another state to be eligible for temporary license)
- ACCS certification preferred
Pay
Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend; stipend amount to be determined.
