Travel Remodel Construction Nights $18 to $19

About the role

SPAR is expanding its overnight reset and remodel construction team. Join as a full-time racking team member to build, heavy steel racking, pallet racking, assemble and install shelving and fixtures in home improvement retail chains. Work overnights, 9PM - 6AM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Very physical construction work
• Overnight work, 9PM - 6AM
• Remodeling big box retail stores
• Removing and replacing damaged steel racking including cantilever towers
• Moving product from old to new pallet racking
• Building and assembling retail store shelving fixtures
• Updating signage, shelf conditions, and schematics
• Engaging in considerable physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Self-sufficient, highly motivated
• Experience in construction, resets or remodels, fixture installation, racking, or general labor
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and work overnights
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground
• Experience using basic hand and power tools (own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job
• Team environment
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, personal cell phone, and valid email address
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Wearing appropriate work footwear on the jobsite
