Travel Remodel Construction Nights $18 to $19

Overview

Travel Remodel Construction Nights is an opportunity at SPAR to join a full-time racking team that specializes in overnight reset and remodel construction. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for building, heavy steel racking, pallet racking, assembling, and installing shelving and fixtures in home improvement retail chains. The work involves physically demanding tasks such as removing and replacing damaged steel racking, moving product between old and new pallet racking, and updating signage and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Very physical construction work
• Work overnights (9PM - 6AM)
• Remodeling big box retail stores
• Removing and replacing damaged steel racking including cantilever towers
• Moving product from old to new pallet racking
• Building and assembling retail store shelving fixtures
• Updating signage, shelf conditions, and schematics
• Completing projects with considerable physical activity
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnights (9PM - 6AM)
• Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground as needed
• Experience in using basic hand and power tools (must provide own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, personal cell phone, and valid email address
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Appropriate work footwear to be worn on the jobsite
