Travel Remodel Construction Nights $18 to $19

Overview

Travel Remodel Construction Nights is an opportunity to join SPAR's full-time racking team, specializing in overnight reset and remodel construction. As a member of this team, you will be working overnights, 9PM - 6AM, building, heavy steel racking, pallet racking, assembling and installing shelving and fixtures in home improvement retail chains. Ideal candidates should have experience in construction, resets, or remodels, and possess strong physical abilities and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Very physical construction work
• Work overnights remodeling big box retail stores
• Remove and replace damaged steel racking including cantilever towers
• Move product from old to new pallet racking
• Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
• Update signage, shelf conditions and schematics
• Completion of tasks within a fast-paced environment
• Engage in considerable physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and work overnights 9PM - 6AM
• Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating and placing products on shelves
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground as needed
• Experience in using basic hand and power tools (own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job
• Work in a team environment
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, personal cell phone, and valid email address
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Appropriate work footwear to be worn on the jobsite
