Travel Remodel Construction Nights $18 to $19

Overview

Travel Remodel Construction Nights is an opportunity to join SPAR's traveling racking team, specializing in overnight resets and remodels of home improvement retail chains. The role involves physically demanding tasks such as building, heavy steel racking, pallet racking, assembling, and installing shelving and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Very physical construction work
• Work overnights (9PM - 6AM)
• Remodeling big box retail stores
• Removing and replacing damaged steel racking including cantilever towers
• Moving product from old to new pallet racking
• Building and assembling retail store shelving fixtures
• Updating signage, shelf conditions, and schematics
• Engaging in considerable physical activity
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and work overnights
• Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground
• Experience in using basic hand and power tools (must provide own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job
• Work in a team environment
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, personal cell phone, and valid email address
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Appropriate work footwear for the jobsite
