Travel Remodel Construction Nights $18 to $19

Overview

Travel Remodel Construction Nights is an opportunity to join SPAR's full-time racking team, specializing in overnight reset and remodel construction at home improvement retail chains. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for physically demanding tasks such as building, heavy steel racking, pallet racking, assembling, and installing shelving and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Very physical construction work
• Work overnights from 9PM to 6AM, Monday through Friday
• Remove and replace damaged steel racking including cantilever towers
• Move product from old to new pallet racking
• Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
• Update signage, shelf conditions, and schematics
• Engage in considerable physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnights
• Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground
• Experience in using basic hand and power tools (must provide own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, personal cell phone, and valid email address
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Appropriate work footwear for the jobsite
