Travel Remodel Construction Nights $18 to $19

Overview

Travel Remodel Construction Nights is an opportunity to join SPAR's full-time racking team, specializing in overnight reset and remodel construction. As a member of this team, you will be working overnights, 9PM - 6AM, building, heavy steel racking, pallet racking, assembling and installing shelving and fixtures in home improvement retail chains. This role requires a background in construction, resets, or remodels, and strong physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Very physical construction work
• Work overnights remodeling big box retail stores
• Remove and replace damaged steel racking including cantilever towers
• Move product from old to new pallet racking
• Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
• Update signage, shelf conditions and schematics
• Completion of various tasks within a fast-paced environment
• Engage in considerable physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and work overnights 9PM - 6AM
• Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground
• Experience in using basic hand and power tools (own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools required)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job
• Work in a team environment
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, personal cell phone, and valid email address
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Appropriate work footwear required for the jobsite
