Travel Rehabilitation Therapist position in Tampa, Florida.
About the role
13-week travel assignment starting 08/10/2026. 40 hours per week, 9-hour day shifts. Must have home health experience; OASIS training preferred. BLS certification required. Scrubs: any solid color.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 6–8 skilled home visits per day (minimum 6 points per day; may increase at manager’s discretion)
- Treat patients with diagnoses including med/surg, cardiac, ortho, hips/knees/shoulders, post-surgical, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, CVA, falls, weakness, Parkinson’s, failure to thrive, respiratory conditions, neuro, trachs, trauma, AKA, BKA, and ADL deficits
- Work 1–2 weekends per contract
- Self-schedule visits and hours based on office needs
- Use provided laptop, MiFi, and portable printer with BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation systems
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Rehabilitation Therapist
- Valid driver’s license and car for home visits
- COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption on file)
- Flu shot (or declination) and mandatory mask-wearing at all times while at work
- Florida license or compact license at time of submission
- Must live at least 100 miles from the Tampa facility (100-mile radius rule)
- Cerner charting experience preferred
