Travel Registered Nurse Utilization Management Job

About the role

Registered Nurse – Utilization Management in York, PA, United States. Start date 09/01/2026 for a 4-week travel assignment in a long-term care setting. Guaranteed hours 40 per week on a 5x8 daytime shift (days).

Responsibilities

• Conduct utilization management reviews to assess medical necessity, level of care, and appropriateness of services
• Review clinical documentation and care plans; coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
• Determine discharge planning needs and assist with transitions to appropriate post-acute care when applicable
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure adherence to regulatory and payer guidelines
• Document findings, decisions, and care coordination activities in the electronic health record according to policy
• Participate in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• LTC experience preferred
• PCC experience preferred
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting
• Availability for a 4-week assignment starting 09/01/2026
• Willingness to work a 5x8 daytime shift

Pay

Weekly pay range: $1,981 to $2,137
