About the role

Unit-based leadership role in an acute-care environment. Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel to ensure cost-effective, professional care with positive patient outcomes and high satisfaction while maintaining patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide unit-based leadership, collaborating with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion.
• Ensure patients receive professional care that results in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining patient safety.
• Assess quality of patient experience and drive improvement across the unit.

Requirements

• Active RN license in California (or equivalent eligibility) to practice in the assignment locale.
• Availability for 12-hour day shifts, three days per week (36 hours per week).
• Previous unit-based leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and ancillary staff.
• Ability to maintain high standards of patient safety while delivering evidence-based care in a fast-paced setting.

Pay

Weekly pay: $1,995 - $2,198.

Schedule

• 3x12-hour day shifts (36 hours per week).
