Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit

About the role

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital 10K Stepdown Unit is hiring for a Travel Registered Nurse. This is a temporary full-time, 14-week assignment on day shift (First/Days). The unit is a brand new 24-bed Medicine unit with new computers in every room, charting stations in hallways with windows to visualize patients, and blood pressure machines that integrate with EPIC for real-time documentation.

Patient population includes cardiac, cardiac prep, renal failure, vascular, sepsis, pneumonia, sickle cell, OR-prep, and diverse wound care.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or diploma in Nursing required

Licensure & certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale

Experience

• Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience required

$75.00 per hour
