About the role
Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is hiring a Temporary Full-Time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the PCU/Stepdown Unit. This is a 14-week assignment with a pay rate of $70.00 per hour and no benefits.
Department/Unit Overview
The 24-bed PCU/Stepdown unit cares for intermediate-level patients who are too ill for general medical/surgical floors but do not require ICU care. The patient population includes general medicine, surgical, chronic vents (4 beds), bypass patients, and stroke-certified care.
Requirements
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or diploma in Nursing
- Active Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Minimum of two years of current acute-care hospital experience
