Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, patient-centered care to PCU patients in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Maintain vigilance over patient status, interpret assessments, and respond to changes in condition
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital policies
  • Collaborate with licensed and unlicensed team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Document accurately in the medical record and communicate updates to the health care team and families
  • Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and transition of care as appropriate

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain per state requirements
  • Ability to practice in a PCU/critical care–adjacent setting and work the Night shift (3x12)
  • Strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, and commitment to patient safety
  • Effective communication and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of nursing standards of practice and adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and meet any facility credentialing requirements
