Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Key Highlights
- Weekly pay: $1,514-$1,653 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for PCU patients using the nursing process.
- Administer medications and treatments, respond to changes in patient status, and implement physician orders accurately.
- Provide education to patients and families from admission through discharge; document the nursing process clearly and concisely.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment; participate in quality and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Supervise and direct nursing assistants and other team members as appropriate; ensure equipment and supplies are ready for patient care.
Requirements
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Ohio.
- Certification: CPR required.
- Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma in Nursing, ADN, or BSN).
- Experience: Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred.
- Specialty: PCU experience preferred; ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced unit.
- Ability to work in a 7:00 pm–7:30 am shift and to meet the demands of a 13-week travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care setting.
