Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Cook up care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
Document patient care and status; participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment and participate in travel as part of a travel assignment
