Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Overview
A registered nurse (RN) position is available for a 8-week operating room (OR) travel assignment in Templeton, California. The start date is August 17, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide postoperative recovery nursing care in the PACU following surgery
- Maintain monitoring of vital signs and assess patient status
- Manage pain and anesthesia recovery coordination with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Administer medications and document according to orders
- Maintain a safe, clean recovery area and support patient comfort and privacy
- Document care, communicate changes, and hand off to the next care team
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts (approximately 40 hours per week)
- Experience or exposure to perioperative recovery or OR settings
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a hospital environment and adhere to safety protocols
