Responsibilities

• Provide registered nursing care in a hospital-based Oncology Clinic setting; support overall patient management alongside the oncology team
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize evolving clinical changes
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope (note: this role is not an infusion nurse)
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and safe medication use; reinforce discharge planning as appropriate
• Document care in the electronic medical record and coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and other care team members
• Triage and respond to patient needs in the clinic, escalating concerns per protocol

Requirements

• COLORADO RN license or compact license in good standing
• BLS (AHA Provider)
• Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card
• Minimum of two years oncology experience
• Ability to work in a hospital-based Oncology Clinic setting

Travel Eligibility

• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the assignment site

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure
