Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to adult oncology and med-surg patients, including assessments, hygiene, and symptom management
Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies, monitor responses, and report adverse events
Monitor patient status, vital signs, labs, pain levels, and changes in condition; implement appropriate interventions
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the interprofessional team to develop and adjust patient care plans
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly in the electronic health record; ensure high standards of safety and infection control
Support discharge planning and patient and family education to promote continuity of care

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license (state to be verified)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in med-surg or oncology settings
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2x3 schedule
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Willingness to travel and work in a hospital setting for a 13-week assignment
