Travel Registered Nurse OB GYN Job

Temporary travel RN assignment in a hospital-based OB/GYN unit in Owosso, MI. Assignment begins 08/24/2026 and runs for 14 weeks.

Schedule

• 36-hour night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• No guaranteed hours

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,047–$2,198

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct OB/GYN patient care across Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDRP), including triage, labor support, delivery, and postpartum care
• Serve as circulating nurse during procedures and collaborate with the obstetric team; assist with C-sections and newborn care
• Monitor fetal status and maternal vitals
• Provide postpartum couplet care, educate families, and support safe discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation, ensure infection control, and uphold unit policies
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Respond to obstetric emergencies, participate in on-call activities as scheduled, and coordinate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license (LARA/Nursys)
• Certifications: AWHONN, NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) – all active
• 2+ years of OB/GYN clinical experience
• High proficiency in LDRP operations, including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Couplet Care
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions allowed per policy)
• Must have own vehicle
• Permanent address must be listed in profile
• Ready-to-Work (RTO) requests must be included in profile and not submitted after offer
• Must pass a dysrhythmia test prior to floor placement
